Potential TF4 Actresses- Bios and Predictions

This past week has been one of the biggest Transformers news lulls in quite some time, so I've decided to give you some bios and predictions for the potential actors and actresses of Transformers 4. For the actresses, I will start with the one I think has the least chance of getting the part and go down to the actress I predict will star in TF4. The actors will be ranked in the same way. Look for the post on them later this week.

4. Margaret Qualley
Out of the four actresses that have been named as being tested for the part, Qualley is definitely the least known. The 17-year-old is the daughter of actress and model Andie MacDowell, who now stars in Jane by Design and has starred in the movies Footloose, Monte Carlo and Groundhog Day, among many others. In an interview with TeenVogue, Qualley expressed interest in moving to Los Angeles in 2013 to pursue acting. I expect that she has a long shot chance at getting the part of the high school senior girl, but she could prove to be a dark horse and get the job.

3. Gabriella Wilde
Wilde is another newbie in the acting industry, but has far more experience than Qualley. In 2009, Wilde appeared in an adventure comedy called St. Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold. She also appeared in an episode of Doctor Who in 2010 as an unnamed character. In 2011, she starred in The Three Musketeers 3D remake alongside Orlando Bloom, but the movie did not do well, making $132 million worldwide and had a 25% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Wilde will also be starring in the new Carrie remake due out in 2013. She might have a shot at getting the part in Transformers 4, but at age 23 I think she might be a bit too old.

2. Isabelle Cornish
18-year-old Cornish is yet another new, up and coming actress and resides in Australia. She made her acting debut in 2011, guest staring in an episode of Rescue Special Ops, a television show in Australia. This year, she has starred in 2 episodes of Dance Academy, 6 episodes of Home and Away and is a regular on Puberty Blues (All are Australian shows). She is the younger sister of Abbie Cornish, who has recently starred in Sucker Punch and Limitless. Abbie will also be starring in the upcoming RoboCop remake due out in 2014. Isabelle Cornish should have a very good shot at getting the part. She has some acting experience and having a sister in the business doesn't hurt.

1. Nicola Peltz
Nicola Peltz, age 17, made her acting debut in 2006. She had a small part as Mackenzie in the Christmas movie, Deck the Halls. In 2008, she had small parts in two other movies: Harold, a limited release film starring Spencer Breslin and Cuba Gooding Jr., and Righteous Kill. That year, she also appeared in a music video for Miley Cyrus' 7 Things. Her big break in Hollywood came in 2010 when she played Katara in The Last Airbender, a movie based off of the anime cartoon. Although the film was a flop according to movie critics (It received a 6% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes), it did quite well at the box office, raking in over $319 million. The average moviegoer gave the movie an average "C", according to CinemaScore. I believe that Nicola Peltz will ultimately be cast. She has experience with being in an action movie and responding to green screens. She's also the most attractive out of the four in my opinion.
